Artist Statement

The world is at a meeting point between two great forces: the will to power and the will to freedom. As in any meeting of systems - think tectonic plates and volcanoes - energy is released as they strain to integrate.  A Venn diagram illustrates this as two circles overlapping, creating an almond shape in the middle- a Mandorla. 

This seed-like shape holds enormous potential. Let us hope that, as in birth, trusting the process  will allow for a new, third way to emerge.
